Dinner is Served!
Oodles of noodles to eat!

Thank You Cake...made with love!

DIA (Do it All) Awards!

Oodles of Noodles a Hit!

Our recent Oodles of Noodles Volunteer Appreciation Dinner was a huge hit! It was well attended by 40 volunteers and all of the shelter staff. Everyone feasted on spaghetti with sauce from our burbling crock pots, fresh garlic bread, ceasar salad & homemade punch.

Brian Miner, BAC Chair toasted the crowd for all of the dedication and expertise our volunteers committ to the organization. Several awards were handed out including: "DIA" (Do It All) Awards to Brian & Norma Miner, Lea & Doug Thompson and Kim Mitchell, the "Crafty Lady" Award to Ellen Amirault and the "Foster Failure" Award to Fred & Lynn Ormston.

There were many "oohs" and "ahhs" to be heard when an awesome slideshow developed by Norma Miner was played. It showed pictures of shelter volunteers, special events and shelter animals in action! All the while some heartfelt music played in the background...sigh!

Paws up to Kevin's Flowers for donating a beautiful arrangement of fresh cut flowers & to Gwen Greenstock of Fifth Avenue Collection for lending some sparkle to the evening!

The grand finale was our huge thank you cake served with ice cream home baked with love! Check out the pictures above!
